NYON is committed to achieving equal opportunity in all aspects of it’s work and practices. We oppose discrimination on the grounds of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, health related reasons and all forms of discrimination, direct or indirect, which restricts or hinders the promotion of equal opportunities. NYON reserves the right to add further categories to these groups. We believe in:

All employees, volunteers and partners (both internal and external) of the NYON will be expected to actively support and work towards the implementation of the NYON’s equal opportunities policies and practices.

This policy has been written for NYON after consultation with the Trustees, staff, volunteers and service users. It will be reviewed every two years or as often as required. Any changes must be agreed by the Trustees and must be recorded in the minutes.
